FRESHLY ROASTED COFFEE BEANS | LEBISTRO COFFEE
Product Description
As its name implies, LeBistro Freshly Roasted Beans are only roasted upon order and customers typically receive the coffee within 3 days after roasting. The coffee beans are professionally roasted in micro batches using the Diedrich Roaster imported from the United States, with the roasting time and temperature carefully adjusted for each batch to create a consistently perfect roast. After roasting, the beans are packed in one way valve bags and immediately shipped to the customers.
The LeBistro Advantages
The biggest advantages of Lebistro beans over beans from other sources are that they are roasted in micro batches and delivered quickly to the customers to guarantee freshness. It is a common knowledge that coffee tastes best when prepared with freshly roasted beans. Oxidation happens very quickly after roasting, and coffee beans can deteriorate rapidly in quality within hours after roasting. No matter how well the beans are being packaged or stored, they will still become stale within 3 months after roasting. Beans available off-the-shelf from the supermarkets are often more than 6 months old.
Sumatra Arabica
Aa a start, LeBistro only offers Sumatra Arabica coffee beans for its home customers. Sumatra Arabica coffee beans produces an all-day brew that suits the taste profile of most coffee drinkers in Malaysia. The beans are grown on the rich fern-covered volcanic slopes in the Balak Region of Sumatra, Indonesia. Sumatra Arabica coffee has low acidity and a bit of fruity flavour. It is not bitter, but is slightly earthy and oily.
After our customers are comfortably settled-in with the idea of self-preparation of brewed coffee at home, we promise to gradually introduce more varieties of coffee to enrich their drinking experience.
Method of Preparation
LeBistro coffee beans is suitable for brewing using all types of commonly available coffee machines, but for a start, we would recommend that our customers try it with the French Press - the purists’ choice for brewing a perfect cup of coffee. This is also the method of brewing preferred by all coffee “cupping” professionals
For centuries, coffee is prepared simply by pouring hot water over fresh-roasted beans. In this modern age of convenience, there are now countless types of instant coffee, artificial coffee flavourings, and machines for preparing coffee. All these “modern coffee” can never fully emulate the taste profile obtained by the basic method of coffee preparation.
Coffee prepared by the French Press, which closely follows the basic brewing method, has the advantage of preserving the full range of intrinsic coffee aroma, flavour, body and acidity. The coffee drinking experience is so overwhelming that after trying French Press coffee, some drinkers find it hard to go back to their regular coffee!
